For me, 25 feet and not recoiling is not a problem, as I can easily hang it on the wall near to the compressor. I was looking for an air compressor hose that does not recoil, and I think that I found it, and at very good price. The one that I have now, recoils, but it is soooo.tight that when I try to stretch it to reach my car tires, it drags on the floor my 4 gallon compressor with it.
Highly recommended. This hose is very flexible and did not kink when I used it a number of times. It is light yet durable.
That's why 4 stars not 5. It can be hard to coil particularly in cold weather. Overall very good hose. Tough and visiable so there is no excuse for running over it with the bush hog.
These are the only reasons I haven't thrown it in the trash can.Perhaps my hose was defective in such a way that it was molded with a permanent twist in the length of the hose. I'll be searching now for a replacement. On the BRIGHT SIDE, I do like the orange color plus this hose is as tough as they come. I could coil them up easily for transport or storage.
Why. Release the air pressure and you still can't coil it up - except for very long twisted loops. Sorry if I come along and burst your bubble BUT I must tell you about my experience with this air hose. This is one of the most aggravating air hoses I've ever owned.
(in excess of 3 ft)(not very neat looking at all)All my previous air hoses did not have this problem. Nevertheless, I felt obligated to warn my fellow Amazonians here of my woes.Cheers, Jeff Because you CAN NOT coil this hose up (for storage or to hang it on the wall) IF it's under any air pressure.
So what do you do.
I'll continue to use it but think that I'll also invest in another hose that's a bit easier to use and store (perhaps I'll permanently install this one in my shop). This is a very high-quality air hose with good brass fittings but it has a tendency to "coil" much more easily than I'd prefer and this makes it something of a pain to use.
